Guest Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 I was dating a woman whom I saw about 5 times a week. We spent the nights together often, and became pretty comfortable with each other. We dated for 4 months. About 2 months into dating she said she met someone at a spiritual meeting, and he was about to come over to her place and do a reiki healing. It bothered me that she met a guy and invited him over, but she said he was 400 lbs, and she paid him for his reiki service. What bothered me was that she took the phone off the hook all night, and then told me the next day she was relaxed, and didnt want to argue, so she took it off the hook. Another Sunday she called me and asked what I was doing, and I said watching the football game. I called her at 7, and her phone is off again. Until 10:30. She called me at 10:30 and said she went to a play by herself (right next to my house), and didnt call because she thought i was watching football. I just cant picture her going to a play by herself, and once again not asking me to go. And what caused our break up was her telling me that she is going to the company christmas party with a new fellow male coworker and his friend. She never asked me to go. She says that the 2 guys are gay. She said she doesnt even want to go, and doesnt want to drag me either as she thinks i wont have a good time. I suppose it also bothers me how she did these things. On days she had no plans, she would call me 10 times and want to see me. On days she had plans, I simply never even got a call from her. I dont think if you are dating, and seeing them 5 nights a week,you should do things like invite men over, and then turn your phone off, no matter what the reason. Or am I being too controlling?
