perspektiv Posted December 10, 2006 Posted December 10, 2006 Long story short, my ex LDR and I broke up for a month and are now talking every day again. We are trying to take things slow, but I guess we've become pretty attached again. Last night I went out with some friends. I NEVER take my cell phone with me when I go out. Last night I did because I knew she would call, and I want her to trust me while I'm out. I turned my ringer to vibrate because I knew I'd never hear it. She called twice. I answered twice. The last call was about 1:15am. I was just about to leave the bar and go home. I got home and called her at about 1:30. She didn't answer. I was pretty drunk, and I laid down on my bed. I passed out and didn't wake up until 6am. I looked at my phone. There were a bunch of calls from her. I forgot to turn my ringer back on!!! This must look so sketchy to her. It was an honest mistake, but I feel SOOOOOOOOO bad. I know how I would have felt considering the circumstances. I don't know what to do. She called this morning and I explained. She said maybe shes become too attached too soon. After we talked, I called her back twice this morning and texted her. She won't respond. I feel like I messed up BAD. It was a stupid mistake that could cost me big. Things had been going so well... Is there anything I can do or am I just screwed for now???

If she is having problems dealing with this then thats her department and I really dont think there is much you can do. Get a hold of her first off, and talk this one out. Find out what is bothering her exactly and reasure her of your faith to her. Send her some flowers just to say youre sorry.
love4ever Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 If she's flips out about that she must have some trust issues with you. You didn't actually list anything like cheating from the past. But I personally wouldn't make such a big deal out of it. In my LDR he has said he will call me back before but didn't and I figured it was just because he fell asleep, which is usually what happens.
