amaysngrace Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 Yep Gunny. A new year is an opportunity to leave all the baggage behind. It's a chance to start new with a new attitude and a bit extra wisdom from past life experiences. It's a hopeful time when everything is pure like fresh-fallen snow. HAPPY (almost) NEW YEAR!!!
Antha Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 I've decided to start my New Years resolution early. I'm going to join a gym and go 3 times a week, even though I don't have a workout partner. I went grocery shopping today and only got good stuff. My life is really beginning to be mine again, so I'm going to take charge of it and do the things that I want to do and revel in my freedom and independence. Antha

Antha Antha, just a couple quick hints for you, if you don't have the junk food in your house it's a lot easier not to eat it!! When you go to the gym start of slow and work your way up. 20 minutes is a good start. Eat more often but just eat less food, fruits make great snacks.. I try and eat 5-6 times a day. Use a smaller plate so you don't feel like you need to fill your plate. Good luck to everyone, 2007 sounds like a great year to make "yourself" a better person because I can tell you from experience when you feel good other people will notice!!!!!
anna13 Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 here is a few lyrics from a band I lke ... I think it is fitting for New years eve... by the All American Rejects..... Your subtleties They strangle me I can't explain myself at all. And all the wants And all the needs All I don't want to need at all. The walls start breathing My mind's unweaving Maybe it's best you leave me alone. A weight is lifted On this evening I give the final blow. When darkness turns to light, It ends tonight It ends tonight.
