Would it make for a good first date?

HOW old are the people going on the date??? (Being serious)

Ice-skating is a great idea, at least I would love it if a guy took me ice-skating for a first date.

Yes! How cute! And then some hot chocolate afterwards...

It could suck if one of you hated it, fell down, got hurt or felt like a fool. Kind of hard work on a first date.

On the other hand if you're both gliding along, that would be, well, smooth. (Damn, I think I've been spending too much time with some other punster...)

Even if you fell down or made a fool of your self it is just ice-skating and there is a good chance you will just laugh at eachother. I think it would be fun... oh and I like the hot chocolate idea :)

This is a really cute idea but ask her first because she has to dress for it. It would not be a good idea to take her ice skating when she's wearing a short skirt with bare legs...

You bet. I did that once for a date and she loved it. Nothing like being spontaneous.
