smot0011 Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 Hi All, Been lurking on this board for a couple of months now, just recently gotten back into the dating scene after being married for 15 years (twice to the same woman).... Finally decided to register and start participating. A little background: I met this nice woman from one of the online dating sites. We've emailed each other a dozen times before I asked to meet her for coffee. The day before Turkey day, we met at the local cafe and ended up closing the place, talking for almost 4 hours. She gave me her phone number as we walked out to the car with out me asking. Since then we've email or talked on the phone at least once a day. Last week I asked her out again, she said yes and I had a great time (she mention she did as well) on the second date. Met at her favorite kind of restaurant and I brought a small bouquet of flowers in her favorite color. We ended up talking in the car for another hour once we were back at her car. It's been four days since then, and again we've talked or email everyday since. I want to ask her out again and probably will later today, but I am wondering if I should wait to see if she would initiate a date? I know that she is still active on the dating site and that is cool with me, I am not looking to jump to something quickly (have had too many of those), but it would be very cool if this turned into something more...I dig her. You cannot switch gears like while dating in the beginning. You took the lead.. now keep leading.. Keep in mind that she is dating other guys as well so make sure you show her your A game.. The girl I'm dating now I met online and in the beginning she was dating other guys and the thing that got her was my A game.. I showed it to her from the start and never let up.. If I had left it till later I would've missed out and someone else would've gotten her
