How can I have NC under these circumstances?

My girlfiend and I are recently in a rut. Basically she doesnt know what she wants and that I shouldn't pressure her or I will push her away. I don't even know what the hell we are! also we have an apartment together(which she is currently not staying at, with her parents) and a dog which I currently have. How can I have NC under these curcumstances and if I can should I have no NC or risk pushing her away by calling her and trying to figure out what we are?
