Do you think he will change his mind?, can I still get him back?

Hi I have being reading these post on the site and thought I will put my story up for some advise and insight.

 

My bf of 5.5 yrs broke up with 2 wks ago reasoning that he met some one, we have a 4 yr old son together, and he is over 10 yrs younger than me. When we first met, he fall in love with me very hard and quickly, at the sametime I was concerned with the age gap, (he was 25 then), and through out the years I have hold back my feelings not only the age gap but also I have a long term mentor, love all of that therefore I was never 100% emomtional avil to him although we had a great time going through the pregenncy and first yr of our baby together until then I stressed out with a full time job and a baby and a busy BF, so I turned to my old friend again, and I guess at some stage my bf found out.. an affair is, but no as we are not together for sex rather just to talk (yaya.. it is like that).

 

He loved very much by telling me that he wanted to me with me until the end of time, and asked me to marry him manytime and i turned it down by saying I will marry you when u turn 40yr old:-) even 2 mths ago he still wanted to buy me an engagement ring.. however we are unoffically separated (moving into different rooms) 3 wks ago but still spend time together at night ie the sunday (2wks ago), he was in my bed before took off for a biz trip but by the end of that wk, he told me he met someone and will spend a wkd with her in 2wks time which is a wk after our son's birthday. I spend 10days crying and watching him try to get him fit for this girl and he didnt want to have other try as he said that I betrayed him and he lost trust. He has gone for the last 5 days but will be back tomorrow morning..

 

during that 5 days he hasn't called or any comms, and i don't know what to expect? I guess. I realised how hard this will be on our son and is so willing to have other go with my hear and soul.. and was just wondering if there is still change as he is so determind that he dosn't want to have other go, and not even seening any conler. wich I will be seening one tomorrow for the peace of my mind.. so any advise if I can have him back?
