I still don't get what exactly is it that made this friendship not to function...anyway, the easiest way would be to talk to her about it directly and ask

I've been following this thread as I'm going through some of the same stuff in my head with uncomfortable moments following a big angry event where I stopped talking to a friend for several weeks. The fault went both ways, with broken promises from her and overreaction from me

 

Anyways, something I struggle with is being direct. I mean, now we're talking and laughing with each othe again, but its not exactly like it used to be

 

Will confronting her about it make things better or should ppl just forgive and forget? How do you keep a friend/ mend bridges?
