whichwayisup Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 I would say until their divorce papers are signed, sealed and done - Then you won't be the OM anymore. She can file, but technically you're the OM until divorce actually happens.

NearlyThere Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 Most the time I just sit back and read but when you do say something it is worth it, thats what the difference is. Also you never seem to be nasty or snidey and thats when people, I believe, take more notice.
ratingsguy Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 am I still an OM? Good question! My MW said she would ask me to come along with her to parties and things like that once she separated. I don't know if that means I'm still the OM, but maybe now a visible OM? I've actually wondered once your MW/MM separates, how soon before you and MW/MM no longer worry about being seen in public? There should be a few month buffer period maybe... I guess that's another topic for discussion.
Author bonehead Posted December 5, 2006 Author Posted December 5, 2006 I hadnt thought about that one much since we do alot of things togeather because our kids are involved in alot of the same things.
