curly girly Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 So I put up a post about a great first date wondering if he would call me and he did. In fact we've been out on a few dates since then. It's going really well. He's sweet, he calls me and he's talking about things way into the future, like things we'll do in the spring, or taking a weekend away together. However, we haven't talked about what we are to each other yet. I know it's only been two weeks (which is a bit of a record for me...) but I feel like I want to define this. He asked me if I'd been going out with anyone else, and I told him I hadn't been. When I asked him the same question, he told me he was a one woman type of guy. We actually met online and when I mentioned that it was baout time to take down my dating profile, he said he would get to taking his down evetually, when he remembered. So I feel like I'm getting some mixed messages here. The question is, by asking me if I was seeing anybody else, is that his way talking about us being exclusive? I don't want to rush things, but we talk every day, we see each other all the time and I just want to know where this is headed. Or should I ask him and get him to lay it out for me? Or should I just wait and be patient and wait for him to bring it up? I've never really had a traditional style relationship before, so this is all very new to me and I have no idea what I'm doing!

You've only been dating for two weeks. Don't rush it, or you'll rush him away.
