He texted me a couple days later asking if I wanted to go out with him this weekend so I said sure. It was kind of late so he said he would call me the next day. Well, he didn't end up calling me the next day but he texted me again last night and said that he was work so he couldn't talk but asked if I wanted to do something on Sunday so I said sure and he said he would call me today to work out the details. Well, it's currently 11 pm and I haven't gotten a call yet, so I'm not sure what to make of this. It's just weird because he is definitely the one initiating all of this, but he has now told me twice that he would call and hasn't. I'm just not really sure what to make of this.Should I give up on the guy? I just think it's kind of weird that I still haven't talked to him on the phone.

You don't know him at all, so it's hard to tell if he's messing with you or just plain busy and forgot. Atleast he's still intouch and hasn't disappeared. I say, if he hasn't called you in a week (and that includes the text messaging) then let him know that you're not interested in him. Why waste your time getting to know someone through messaging, when you could get to know them face to face! He also could be shy?? Never know. Time will tell.

Lol, yeah it's actually pretty funny at this point. That's actually the only reason I could come up with too. The only thing is when I met him he was extremely outgoing, but then again he was also drunk so that could have been a factor. It's just kind of a sketchy situation and I would kind of like to know what's going on especially since we're supposed to be going out on Sunday.
