(Out of crazy lust we took the relationship to the next level in the heat of passion and it freaked her out a little since she is still recovering from a previous LTR.) I care about her but have not tried to contact her since her request earlier this week. How long is a reasonable time to wait? I want nothing more than to say Hello and that I am supportive of her. I won't sit around and wait forever but I do care and feel a deep connection with her and those feelings seem similar on her side. The NC this week has been very good for me because I feel a lot more balanced and rational in my thinking.

"I think we should take some time apart" means "I am no longer interested in you." Don't grovel. Disappear and find a new girlfriend.
