So Ive been with my BF for almost 2 years but he just wont get his act together.. we have a child and he keeps quitting great jobs, so now he decided hes going to go to school... I met a man.. who already has a great job... a career and he's definately interested in me.. I think hes sweet and would really like to get to know him more... should i stop talking to this guy, make my bf, or keep getting to know this possibly great man but not make my bf move out????

Well, the fact that you're interested in other guys is a clear sign that you're not interested with your boyfriend anymore. Also, your child needs a stable father, not someone that jumps from career to career and doesn't know what he wants in life. I think you should be honest with your boyfriend and tell him how you feel and why and move on. It will be hard, especially cause you have a kid with him. And as far as the other guy...I get to know him and take things slow at first cause afterall, you do have a kid.

Because you two have a child together, work on the relationship - together. GO to couples therapy if need be, but you each owe it to your child to make it work. If it doesn't, atleast then you can look back and know you both tried your hardest. Give up now, you may regret it.

 

Don't cheat on your boyfriend. And don't end it until you know for sure there's no hope.

Does the "interested" guy know that you have a child?

If he does and is ok with it, then i think you should break up with your bf. I hate to say it, but he sounds like a loser. (I could be mistaken of course, I have never met him). If you associate yourself with a loser, YOU become a loser.

 

If the guy doesn't know, then you should let him know, and see what happens
