silktricks Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 It got a little bloody at my house today. Seems my H joined LS without bothering to tell me, and then posted something (accidentally I'm sure ) under my login. I want you all to know that he really is he, and I really am me. Honesty's a big thing with me, and I would not EVER pretend to be something I'm not. I hope that all of you believe me, as I'd really miss LS and all the great people I've communicated with here, but I wouldn't be able to continue if you'd think I would do that. I told my H that I didn't care if he joined or not, just not to be sneaky about it (or anything else  ). So if you don't want me back, please say so.
Adunaphel Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 Hey! Don't you dare disappear from LS!!!!! I believe you. (it took me less than a minute -which is still too long! - to realize you would not do such a thing and it had to be your H).
magichands Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 So if you don't want me back, please say so. It's not you... it's me.
KnowHowLoveFeels Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 ST, It took me only a split second to realize that your H posted with your screen name. Please don't leave us. I value your opinion.
noforgiveness Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 I do also and i realized it was your husband. Don't be too rough on him. He obviously loves you. Your posts are important here. You do not choose sides in a forum where many seem to and you get to the crux of the problem. Please keep posting. I think i'd kick your husband off though. You need some privacy and a venting area.
frannie Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 I just find it amusing that you must have read posts on here by your husband and not recognised him or what he was saying I tend to take things written on here with a pinch of salt at times... unless we have other verification, anyone here could be constructing numerous personas and replying to themselves and making up all sorts of bunkum. This episode is a timely reminder of that, I think
BUTAFLY Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 Sinceyouasked is your Husband? I'm comfused... what's happening? Gawd, you take a day or 2 off and you miss everything!!b :0)
BUTAFLY Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 Ok...I'm all caught up. found the thread where Sinceyouasked posted under silktricks. I hoped we weren't all dupped. I would like to think SYAsked is really a man, but now i have my douts only because SYasked appeared when a thread posed a question to MM and "he" answered out of nowhere. UMMM I don't know what to think.
Author silktricks Posted November 27, 2006 Author Posted November 27, 2006 For those of you who want me to stay, thank-you very much. I do enjoy LS. Frannie, strangely enough, until this happened, I don't think I'd read any of his posts - but he showed them to me last night - it didn't seem like he'd been posting all that long. I have read other posts by men who sounded just like my H in the last year, though. A couple of times I asked him if they were him, and he was obviously surprised. (Come to think of it, maybe that's how come he got the idea of coming here????). Anyway, I don't really think my story is that unusual based on a number of posts by other BS that I've seen. Butafly, I know my word is easily doubted right now, my God, if I didn't know, I'd doubt me myself! Anyway, thank-you for the kind words everyone. I'll kinda play a wait and see of LS for me for now, just as you folks will probably play a wait and see with me. Noforgiveness, I would probably ask my H not to be on LS anymore if I still felt the need to vent, but I've vented to his face often enough, and don't really feel like I need it anymore. (After this fiasco, though, I don't know if he's going to want to come back anyway - but it's up to him.) Honestly, if what happened didn't cast me in doubt, I'd find the whole thing highly amusing. ;o)
BUTAFLY Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 Does this mean sinceyouasked is not going to answer my questions? I was hoping a man could shed some clarity.
KnowHowLoveFeels Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 Honestly, if what happened didn't cast me in doubt, I'd find the whole thing highly amusing. ;o) Not so funny when it occured. What went through my mind was, "OMG, I hope the mods catch the error soon, and delete all those posts." That's why I didn't want to post any further "damaging evidence". But I'm glad you are not scared off by the mess-up. It really shows that this place is not as "anonymous" as we may think if we can identify a person by their posts!
Who? Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 I'm confused, I like to follow through and read threads that might help me in my day to day life, but this one I cannot follow too confusing.
bonehead Posted November 29, 2006 Posted November 29, 2006 Honestly, if what happened didn't cast me in doubt, I'd find the whole thing highly amusing. ;o) Wont be long and you will be looking back at this and laughing.
