volleyballchick Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 my boyfriend and i have been dating for awhile now...and we are truely in love...we've had our share of "intimancy"...and think we are pregnant...i really want to be and so does he but only when he gets a good job...i grew up without a mom and my dad works 24 hours a day every other day...so i really know nothing about myself because ive pretty much lived by myself for a long time...Can anyone help me???
amaysngrace Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 You should pick up an EPT test to find out. It doesn't need to be name brand, you can get the store brand that looks like the EPT box. You should find that out as soon as you can. You can take it the first day after you missed your period. Good Luck!

Green Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 A little advice if you arent pregnant you should do something to keep yourself from truely getting pregnant like birth control or condoms. Now if you are pregnant Id consider giving the kid up for adoption, because I have no Idea how old you are but from the way your putting this it sounds like your not ready. What ever happens just try to enjoy it
IpAncA Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 Well you know that you have to get tested to see if you are. If so then like others said you need to tell your parents and boyfriend. Being a teen mom isn't an easy thing to do and it isn't something that you should wish for nor should you do on your own. There are a lot of things to consider when having children. If your not then you NEED to take precautions big time so that something like this doesn't happen. You seem very young and not ready.

If you are not pregnant, and your young ( 25 and under) I wouldnt try to be pregnant( of course that is up to you though) . too many people have childrern too early in their relationships and children change everything about your life. Not to say that you and your boyfriend are not totally in Love , I am sure you are. but that has nothing to do with being ready to have a child. it is more then just diapers , and preschools. and the job doesnt end when your child is 18 , it is your job for life , it is a big one, a hard one , and a trying one. there are rewards but alot of sacrafice. If you are not pregnant think hard if you really are ready to bring a child into your life.
goodfriendeva Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 different states might differe but here in cali we have planned parenthood and people who are pregnant can get free medical ne ways... one take a test find out if you are if your not then its best you find a birth control that suits your needs.. you should be using protection.. yes you wnat children but you dont want them right now since he doesnt have the best of a job but if you are.. its ok theres more crap in the world to worry about take a test find out.. then get prenatal care as soon as possible.. i cannot stress that enough. keep us updated ok hun
