Lauriebell82 Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 i have been dating this guy for another 4 months now. we got serious real fast and we fell really in love. we dont fight very often and they aren't even big fights they are just stupid arguments. i was supposed to go home with him for christmas to meet his family (they live 5 hours away) but about a month ago he told me that it wasnt a good idea that i go because he is going to be staying here for 10 days and it may be a little awkward, especially since they dont have a lot of rooms so we would have to sleep together. neither of us can afford to stay in a hotel and i got real upset and started bawling. he is going to stay there through my birthday and new years and i really want him to come back early which i hope he does. anyway what he did really upset but he tried to apologize a million times and say that he stll wanted me to meet his parents. he keeps saying that he isnt used to bringing girls home because he never has before so he needs to "ease me in". i'm paranoid that he is doing this because he isnt as serious s i thought he was. sometimes i get paranoid that he doesnt love me, mainly because i got very hurt in a past relationship so now i have trouble. am i really reading too much into this or is he trying to pull away from me. he still comes to see me and tells me he loves me, but i sometimes still get worried. what can i do to be less worried? i need advice!!!
Mythical Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 Hey, I really don't think you have anything to worry about from what I hear he seems to be interested in you. I have been dating my boy for almost 2 years and I still don't bring him around my mom, becuase of a thousand issues. I don't hink you should be upset about this at all, he obviously wanted you to come and shows interest in you. Obviously it is going to hurt to be away from him but rmember he will be back and it will be that more exciting! Don't worry about this maybe just mention you are upset because you are going to miss him so much. Maybe he has family issues liike I do?
