JGH1645 Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 First time poster I need some advise on how to get my wife to take a more aggressive/dominant role in our sex life. We have been married for 13 years and I think Im like a woman when it comes to hitting your sexual stride. It didnt happen to me in my 20's I was very happy with wham bam thank you Ma'm but now I want to explore our relationship in other ways. We have toys and I have started once and awhile being kinda rough in the bed (not assaultive) and its been fun. My wife has never said no to anything I wanted to try but she is having huge problems with taking control. She has low self esteem and Im not sure why, she is absolutely gorgeous yet she only sees flaws in her eyes. Could it be hereditary? Her mother has no self esteem and is a very negative gloomy person for the most part. I dont want to pressure her into doing this just for me, I want her to enjoy the experience because I truly love to make her happy. When we were younger (teenagers) and dating it was a huge hurdle for her just to say I love you, now it no big deal. This situation reminds me of that yet we have been married for so long and I try to keep our sex life a safe fun enviroment were she wont get hurt. Im so stumped on this What can I do to help her? Is there any material or sites worth checking out that could help with this?
