is this a sign my ex might want me back?

Me and my ex bf got into a fight about 5 months ago. He lives in another province and we had been contacting over msn messanger. Well after the fight I tried to reconcile but gave up after two days- he would not answer my emails. I've decided if he wants me back he needs to make the first move. He can be very stubborn and in the past when we've fought I was always the one to "mend fences".

Well I'm beginning to think that he does want me back. What happened was yesterday when I was at work his best friend showed up at the store. It's a huge grocery store that sells everything you can think of. He was actually wandering around my department looking for me! When he talked to me he was being very friendly and asked how the job was. I was friendly back. I had seen his friend about a week after we first broke up in the store and that time he did not talk to me.

I guess my question to all you guys is do you think the fact that his best friend was specifically looking for me in the store and was being friendly to me means my ex may want me back? Maybe he feels bad and having his friend come into the store to be nice to me was his way of "breaking the ice". Remember I said he lived out of province so I think he was getting his friend to check on me. And if you're thinking that maybe his friend is interested in me that would be incorrect because he was there with his gf.

If the tables were turned I know that if I were best friends with someone and she broke up with her bf I definately would NOT go out of my way to be really friendly and nice to him unless I knew my friend wanted him back. What do you guys think?

I'm curious to know what makes you say your ex's friend was looking for you in the store?

 

I always find it strange talking to my friends' exes right after they break up. After time goes by, usually the awkwardness fades and I'm just happy to see them.

 

So unless your ex get in touch with you, don't assume he wants you back.
