The first question is about No Contact. I read somewhere that NC will make a person feel better after 60 days. I have not seen my ex for 82 days and have not spoken to him for 57. But I really don't feel all that great. But....I obsessively drive by his work to look for his car and I religiously check his new girlfriend's retarded Myspace page to confirm her ugliness. I realize these things are dumb and I really want to stop--are they the reasons that NC hasn't done its magic?

 

Second question...

I've read that you need to stop thinking/dwelling on your ex everyday and instead think about yourself. But I've also read to write your bad thoughts down about your ex everytime they come to you and make a "breakup journal," so to speak. Aren't these contradictory? I want to try the journal thing, but I worry that it's going to keep him in my mind more than take him out of it.
