I had class with a guy for 2 semesters (until the end of last spring). I used to catch him staring at me sometimes--I'd return the look for a couple of seconds, then lose my nerve and look away. We had some good conversation before class a couple of times, joked around during class sometimes and even briefly talked about going on an international vacation together. (That didn't happen due to things that came up for each of us.) He complimented me a time or two and teased me once or twice. The thing is, I can't figure out if he's interested in me or not. I thought for sure he was a few times, but he never asked me out. Now, we don't have class together anymore. I do, however, work in the same (huge) company as him, and can easily email him or call him (company directory), but would this be too weird? I don't want to do anything that's going to freak him out or have him think I'm some crazy stalker. I even live in the same neighborhood as him, but I never see him around home either. This guy is amazing and I don't want to let him get away. I'm thinking maybe he thinks I'm not interested because I'm painfully shy and didn't flirt with him much, if at all. How do you think I should approach him or do you think I should just move on?

If you are definately sure that he will remember you I think you should call him and just mention that you were thinking of him and see if he would be interested in a coffee or lunch break. That way its during daylight and short sweet and not a big commitment.

Well seeing as how you're female, I doubt it would matter if it's day or night. Most guys don't feel threatened nearly as much by a woman stalker as a woman would by a man. Why not go for it? I had a similar thing going on last year and sent her an email over the summer (received a mixed reply but we're in the same class again and she's much more friendly now). I'm sure he wouldn't be angry at all, mostly surprised.
