Was in two minds whether to post this but yesterday when i went out and i saw him, because i put a bit of effort in my appearance (not for him) he asked me if i had a date

 

 

I hadn't but

a)why did he say that

b)what should i have said

I'm sorry, I haven't been following your story, but:

 

It could have been anything from small talk right up to controlling behaviour. Who knows? What is going on in your relation to him... is it over..? Because if it is it's a good idea to stop wondering what his motivations are...
