abigmistake Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 Ok im a 16 year old male in highschool.. 3 years ago i thoguth i liked this girl. so i asked her out but she sad she didnt want to ruin our friendship... bad sign?... Anyway, so she was my frist crush and still is, sad i know. This summer she broke up with her boyfriend in a 1.5 year relationship so i decided to give her some room right? So i call her once a week til school. But once i see her again i just cant stop thinking about her. So i talk to her in english and study hall and call her at night... So eventually i get my nerve up to tell her that i like her alot and if she wold go out with me... I had been hinting at it before with flirting and the like but now she knew i rly did like her. She jsut ketp asking why i liked HER of all people, like she was worthless, She seems to have this self-hate thign ... She kept saying i deserve better and shes "ruined" from her 1.5yr thing... She said she wanted to hurt only herself and nobody else(6 otehr guys had otld her they liekd her) All of a sudden she starts going out with this guy... I ask her why and she says she doesnt want a relationship with "maintenance" involved...(i took it as she didnt want to care about it and said so... She threw THAT back in my face) She said she cant like me as much as i liek her ... but she never says she doesnt like me? So now its liek the middle of school and i can hardly talk to her anymore because 1. She has a B$%^H friend... 2. I'm scared ****less 3. I want to say so many things that i cant Where did i go wrong? I can't sleep at nights because i think about her and how to fix it. It's gotta stop... i cant do school with only 3hrs of sleep a night and daydreasm in the middle of school.. i just dont KNOW.

I think the only way to solve this is to show interest in another girl...maybe be genuinely interested in another girl. There's plenty of fish in the sea. If she sees you truly interested in another girl and not interested in HER anymore, she WILL be jealous. Hey! Maybe you should call her and ask her for advice about this girl! Beautiful.
DanielMadr Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 You have to learn to have Control. Control your emotions. Dont think too much. Dont idealize her or anybody. Have fun and enjoy life. Dont analyze - trust your gut. Yes. She has no interest in you (ruinning friendship blah blah). She likes you probably but she does not like you enough. Can you change it? Possibly not. First impression is hard to erase. Forget her and find another girl...even better...there is plenty of it. Dont worry. Actually these f@ck ups are valuable experiences...making your heart stronger...scar tissue is like kevlar. Just dont take it personally. Keep trying, dont give up.

The friendship thing was like 3 years ago... now she says im too good for her and i deserve more and shes "ruined". What would that mean without the 3 year old friendship comment? I just want to figure out how she feels, and if she doesnt like me how can i "attract" her interest... I understand that i should... SHOULD... find another girl but i just can't and dont want to... I live in a school of 300 ppl and she's just simply amazing to me.

Stick in their you will be fine, and to not be with someone else is just crazy, and think if this person sees you happy with someone it might just tip the balance.
