Guest Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 This is in reference to young college age guys who hang in groups. Is it at all possible for a guy to let the group know he likes this one girl a whole lot but the group doesn’t approve of the girl really for whatever reason. So the guy that really likes this girl and wants to be with her tries to fool the rest of the group into thinking he doesn’t like her anymore, one of the ways he does this is by finding a girl that all the guys approve of that is already in the room and talk to her a lot for the guys to notice, walking with her for the guys to notice, and maybe even hang out with her so the guys know that they did this. When the girl he originally liked is around (but not when the group is there) the guy can’t help but not to look at her like he always did before and all. Is it possible for guys to really do this and play games on their friends? Or even for guys to play games on the girl they like because they are afraid to show their true feelings? I've heard stories of 2 people who once said they hated each other but ended up married and liked each other all along. Do guys go to great lengths sometimes to hide their true feelings?
norajane Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 I suppose anything is possible, but it seems like a really, really stupid waste of time thing to do, and I can't imagine any guy actually bothering to do it. If he does, though, the girl he really likes is probably going to move on to someone else who isn't such a wussie boy.
miss snoopy Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 As Norajane said it's possible but says a lot about the guy in question. I won't want to start a relationship on that sort of foundation!
