Hi, I will try to keep this short (and interesting:p). Basically my ex-gf broke up with me a month ago because she said she didn't want to be in a relationship, it's not you it's me etc.

So anyway, one of our mutual friends was drunk and he told me she had started seeing sum1 else just 2 weeks after we broke up and she has already slept with him!!!

This makes me so angry.....she said she didn't wanna be in a relationship right now and yet there she is 2 weeks later, going out with sum1 else.

I've been doing NC but I see her around from time to time, and I thought I was getting over her but this hurts so much...it's like a fresh rejection all over again!

My question is, how can sum1 move on to a new relationship so fast?!!

1. A month can be a long time...now she wants to be in a relationship.

2. She meant that she didn't want a relationship with you. Sadly enough, that is the case many times.

3. Even though she didn't want a relationship at that time, she met someone who had an effect on her...this changed her mind.

I can understand your pain. I have been there more than once, but I would say that for you it is time to move on. Find someone to date. You may find someone that is more compatible with you.

Cheers for your input mate, I just get the feeling that she went with the first man that showed interest in her because it was pretty quick.....it's just hard because it makes me wonder if she is over me aleady, and if so that is a bitter pill to swallow!

Women get over men quickly, unless they have a really big schlong, loads of cash, or are great in bed.

Same situation here, except that my ex hasn't slept with the new guy (yet), but we were together for five years and she's back into the dating world only after a month of breaking up. It's unfortunate, but she has moved on, and so should you.

Actually many women don`t dump a guy until they have the next man picked out and waiting in the wings. And it is not unusual for a woman to already be seeing the other guy before the breakup occured. At least enough to convince her it is worth her effort to break up.
