samsungxoxo Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 if you were to choose out of obligation between being A) The bully or B) The one being bullied, which one would you choose, why so?? Ok I guess you're all gonna hate me for this but I would rather go for choice A) than the other one. Why? Well b/c it's a lot easier when you are the bully than when someone's bullying you, plus you don't have to carry too much grieving, guilt yes a lot of it but at least you aren't worry about being intimidated or appearing weak. Then again, this is just a silly imaginary question, not to be taken serious, just bored right now and gonna go to sleep. So let's party up people, oh and don't forget the drinks.
whichwayisup Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 I'm with the bunny on this one. Neither. Being bullied sucks and being a bully is just stupid!
Walk Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 No offense.. but, one thing I've found... bullies have a really strong feeling of inadequacy, and lack of self-worth, which causes them to over compensate. Those being bullied feel the same way but react differently. When you dont' feel that way, then you don't fall into either of those categories (bully, or bullied). Confident people who know their self-worth don't need to "prove" they are better than others. There's no need to compare at all. In the end, we're all good at something. And something I excell in, you will fail in. Something I fail in, you will excell at. No ones better, or worse.. just different. So I interpret your need to classify yourself as "bully" as a cry for attention, and also an attempt on your part to disguise your feelings of worthlessness, or at least feeling like "less" than others.
magichands Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 How about Choice C - Neither? Can I intimidate you into choosing more wisely? (I have a psycho bunny boiling history.)
Guest Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 Bullies are idiots. People who are too stupid to cope with life in an adult and mature manner resort to bullying. It doesn't show strength. It's just lame and pitiful.
Adunaphel Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 If I had only A) and B), I would pick B). I'd rather not be able to stand up for myself than bullying, for a variety of reasons. anyway the bully is always the weaker guy. I have a shred of respect, though, for bullies who bully people of their own size, or bigger (figuratively, or not-so-figuratively speaking). Unfortunately bullies hardly ever do that. They go for the ones who look like they would take abuse. Can I intimidate you into choosing more wisely? (I have a psycho bunny boiling history.) Do you boil psycho bunnies?
magichands Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 Do you boil psycho bunnies? Look - psycho bunnies are bunnies too. They just happen to be extra delicious. Is this really a serious question?? Obviously I'm the one who's psycho, you silly fool.
Adunaphel Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 Is this really a serious question?? No. I am not a serious person. you silly fool. I appreciate that. :) --------------------- To get back in topic, I have always wondered how bullies feel. Bullying must cause some sort of thrill (I guess), but what is the aftermath of it?
