rythemgrl Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 Whenever I'm going through a rough time, the thing that always helps me cope is music. My friend who works for umgd gave me this new Dionne Warwick cd that came out yesterday (i believe). It's got all her old classic songs on it, except theyre all remade with guest artists like Olivia Newton-John, Gloria Estefan, Mya, Gladys Knight, Deborah Cox and others. There's some really great songs on the cd, really soulful and inspiring. It might just help Let me know what you guys think.
LakesideDream Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 Music isn't for rough times for me. Music is my trigger to memories. When I want to artificially induce a feeling... I reach for my music library. Mellow or Mild, Hot or Wild, but mostly for those warm memories. Favorite? James Darin, (Rod Stewart if you're younger), sometimes Rainy Days and Mondays...
