justagirl1121 Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 I was set up back in sept with a friend of a friend. I've seen him like 5 times now. I think he wants to take it a bit slow. It took till like the 4th time for him to kiss me and the 5th time we were hanging out at his place watching the fb game and being kind of cuddly etc. I think he's interested in me but I wouldn't define us as anything at this point. This is really first time that I've not had someone be a jackass at this point. I'm a little shy about this stuff so it's hard for me to be touchy feely first, etc so I don't want him to think i'm this shy little girl and/or not interested back. Anyway, with some of that idea in mind, we're still just kinda getting to know each other. I'm going out of state with some of the girls this weekend and we're going to a place near Detroit with the casino's and things. I'm going to get my friend who hooked me up a shot glass cause i know she collects those, and that's easy....i think it's a good idea to get him something, but i have no idea what. If it comes down to it, i'd probably get him a shot glass too, but he even though he drinks, i don't think he's a huge drinker like that. Tho he doesn't drink beer so a shot glass could potentially work...but i'm thinking i'd rather get something else though and leave that as a very last resort. I'm hoping i'll see something when im there, but im sometimes not very good at picking things out for people because i try too hard to make sure it's something good and i always feel like its a stupid gift, so i could use some ideas please!!!!
Parmalat Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 Ok I'm going to try my best at giving a few ideas, so don't shoot me if they seem laim. What about a key ring, or a t-shirt referring to the spot your going. What about buying a postcard at the place, and writing him a message like, thought of you or something and mail it to him, then you can be like, I send you something per mail. Or what about taking some pictures while you are there and putting a bow around it telling him you wish he was there. Hope some of this helps, as I think of more I'll write again.

A t-shirt will probably be one of the first choices i guess....shot glass...maybe i'll just have to see....do you think it's a good thing to do? I mean, we're not really officially anything, like not bf/gf, but i guess not just "friends" either...i don't know....

You might be able to find a pimp martini shaker. They usually have stuff like that at casino gift shops. But really, pretty much anything you get him is probably going to be appreciated and make him feel good just for the simple act of bringing him back a gift.
