laurent99 Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 This is pretty long winded. I'm pretty sure I have a crush on the girl that works in the building next to us. The past few times that I've made direct eye contact with her, I just went speechless. It was weird. I couldn't even muster a smile or a simple "hey". I think this is a crush because I've never had problems approaching a girl before. She's never said anything back to me either. She just direct eye contact with, but says nothing. I can't think of any easy way to approach her. I work until 4:30pm. She works until 5:00pm. I know this because once in a great while my manager will let me work until 5:00 pm.. I haven't said anything to my co-workers. Anyhow, I thought about sticking around until 5:00pm and maybe trying to talk to her. However, I really can't think of any sane thing to tell my manager when he asks me "Why are you hanging around here". Also, I'm sure my co-workers would also start asking me why I'm trying to stick around until 5:00pm. Worse, I can't think of anyway to approach this girl without coming off as some kind of stalker. And yes, I think she is aware that I might like her. About 3 weeks ago, I left the same time she did. I was behind her on the way out of work. For whatever reasons, she pulls off to the side of the road and lets me pass. I didn't think anything of it. I figured she probably just forgot something back at work. She then follows me 4 exits down the highway before I lost her. Either that, or she was maybe just trying to freak me out because I keep making eye-contact with her, but don't say anything.
