Davis Posted November 4, 2006 Posted November 4, 2006 Many of you know my story. My ex dumped me at the end of Sept. I have been almost 5 weeks NC. She went back to her ex who's a tweaker. Anyway, I ran into my friend Linda last nite. She's married and a really attractive little brunette. She doesn't wear a ring and we're strictly friends. Anyway she wants to go to the local dance place, so I met her there. I go to the bar to get a drink while Linda went to the restroom. I'm looking down the bar and see this girl. She kinda half smiles. I finally realize it's my ex! I just ignored her and turned away. Finally, Linda comes out and we're talking. I told Linda my ex was there and asked if she would play along as my "girlfriend" and hang on me for the night. Linda and I are standing there talking and a few minutes later my ex's best gf comes up to me and tells me my ex wants to come over and say "hi" but she's worried I'll be mean to her. I said, "why would I be mean to her?" She says "well I'm going to send her up here so be nice". Then I said, "oh, best gf, this is Linda and Linda this is gf". The best gf gives me this surprised look and smile and says "ohhhh". Ok, I'll "talk" to you tomorrow. So, my ex and all these girls are out dancing by themselves. Linda goes out and dances with some guy for 4-5 songs while I'm at the outside bar. My ex was apparently not with a guy. I don't know where her loser was or even if they are still together (I assume they are) but I've had NC. I poke my head in and motion for Linda to come out. She and I just hang at the bar (right outside the glass window by the dance floor). I have my back to the dance floor. Anyway, I keep putting my arm around Linda's waist and talking in her ear (well, it was loud, but hey my ex couldn't tell if I was talking to her or kissing her so that's ok). Linda tells me again and again, that my ex is totally looking and watching our every move; she was watching us "like a hawk". After about half an hour, Linda wants to go because it's getting late, so I take her across the dance floor, past my ex, don't even look, put Linda's jacket on her and walk out the door with her. I could not have paid for the evening to work out like it did! I'm anxious today. I really want to talk to my ex. I'm curious if she's still with her loser and how she feels about me. I think everyone will probably agree that if my ex wants to talk to me or contact me that she is going to have to have some balls and call, email or text me. I'm second guessing myself. Should I worry that my pretending Linda was my girlfreind is going make my ex too pissed to contact me? Is she not going to contact me because she thinks I have a girlfriend? From what I've read about NC, I understand it should only drive my ex more crazy, think about me more and miss me. Any advice??
