blon_dee Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 I broke up with my bf a few weeks ago.. i thought it was all wrong, i thought i just didnt really love him. Now i've worked through all the past issues that were holding me back, and man, i do love him! I have made a huge mistake! I dont know what to do.....
Guest Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 if u are like me....you have had it with all the games if u love someone u just stop and reach out in a real way easy eh that unfortunately is not my case i wish it was
Davis Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 You women are so fickle sometimes! You have to dump us to figure out later that you love us? Are you sure you fixed everything that you thought was "all wrong"? What changes did he want you to make? Have you done those? Any idea where he is at with your breakup? Anyway to find out? I think two weeks is a little short.... Anyway you can "run" into him; coffee, party, restaurant? Move carefully.
Fun2BMe Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 Why don't you tell him you changed your mind after you realized it was a mistake and ask him to let you take him back?
Davis Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 Good point Fun. I forgot about that one. An ex broke up with me once. I did NC for only a week. She called during that week and said "I think I made a mistake. I'm sorry". I melted. We got back together. Depends if he wants you back or not.
Author blon_dee Posted November 5, 2006 Author Posted November 5, 2006 Thanks guys... I have tried the "I made a mistake " email. I have had no response, and it seems he has his profile back on the dating site where we met..so i guess hes not interested... Time to move on i guess.. How the hell do you get over it?
Fun2BMe Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 I don't think you should be so quick to move on. He is hurting a lot and needs proof you really want him back for sure without hurting him again. I doubt he's already ready to move on. He probably but his profile back up knowing you'd see it and think he's over you, trying to hurt you like he feels hurt. Try to be understanding and sensitive towards him but don't wait too long because he might meet someone else in the meantime. Keep trying to prove to him that you want him back and to convince him you feel bad about hurting him. Maybe a handwritten letter with all of your feelings written out and delivered to him will be more convincing than an email. Not sure how long the email was and how in depth.
