No I've never had lessons but I know alot of people who play guitar, but I rather get someone I don't know to teach me. It makes it less frustrating. We'll see how it goes but I'm sure I'll be fine for now . I gotta learn step by step and the basics needed, but I'm sure a guitar teacher can teach that alot easier than I can learn it lol. How much do they vary from?

If you find a good teacher, there won't be any frustration when learning, well almost.:o

 

I had a half-hour session weekly for only $10. He was two years younger then me, but he had been playing most of his life. He was a very good teacher.

 

Like I said, you just need to find a good teacher.

 

I have the book "Guitar Lessons For Dummies". That was helpful too, but I prefer interaction with a real teacher.
