Why do I feel Guilty?

It's been about 2 months since we broke up and I slept with someone else. I was so drunk and it just happened. The next day I felt so horrible. I felt like I cheated on him. And yes, after 13 days of NC.... I called him. It was a good conversation. We didn't end it badly..... It was more for me to get my mind right. We aren't together and he did tell me to move on. So, why do I feel guilty?

First off, because you're human. Second, because you probably did not take enough time to mourn your ended relationship.

 

If you try to look at this positively, you can say to yourself you've crossed the point of no return already, and allow yourself to move on from there.

A part of why you could feel guilty is because you were drunk so it wasn't your true intentions.

Don't feel guiltyit would be very hard but you will move on just try and keep yourself busy.

When I was single after breaking up with someone of 4 years I slept with someone (also while drunk) and i felt guilty too but not because of my ex it just felt weird to know I was with someone different and I wasn't consiously there.
