Lied, In No Contact, but want her to know i am sorry....

My girlfriend and I seperated 2 weeks ago, almost three. The first two weeks were constant talking and contacting, but nothing good would really come out of it. Last week I wanted to go to her house and see her late at night, and I did so without calling. I drove up to her house and there was another guy in the house.

 

Two days later we talked so we could set up a time to pick up some belongings, and I had to tell her I saw her with another guy. She asked how and where, and I LIED> I told her I was at a mutual friends house in the neighborhood and I drove by after the baseball game. I then told that friend, and basically asker her to cover up for me if my ex ask her. So Friday they are hanging out and the girl had to tell the truth.

 

I got a ****ty phone call from the ex, and then later that night she came to the bar and would not talk to me, but kept looking at me and dancing around me and let me say maybe a couple sentances to her, but It was to much in the heat of the moment to clear anything up. So it has been No Contact since then, (5days). I am wondering what to do. I know to not contact her for a couple weeks. but i dont want this to end like this, whether we have a chance in the future or not... which i feel we do. she is really confused, has been married and divorced and a couple boyfriends since then. But I want to write her a letter or something.

 

Just dont know when or what to write. I am very ashamed of my actions and how low my standards and integrity got. Very disappointed, but I have to forgive myself, and understand that it was not from the heart and that it was my feelings acting out, and that everyone, I MEAN EVERYONE lies a little bit sometime. I just dont want her to be pissed and hate me forever. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP PLEASE PLEASE
