consternation Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 Does anyone have any ideas? There's a hot guy at my gym the past few weeks... I've been having a perve while i wait for my class to start and seen him looking at me a couple of times... could be bcoz he's bored though, on an exercise bike. ps. I've already heard all the dumb ideas - like, do squats in front of him, ask him to tie my shoelaces, etc etc etc. How do I go about this, in real life.

No, I have never used any of these lines but they would work on me if some cute girl made me laugh at the gym then asked me out!
nicki Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 I'm flexible and can fold in half. Doing a forward bend right in front of them usually brings a comment like "Are you a gymnast?" Really, though, what I usually do is just smile at them and look at them a lot, and check them out while they are watching me watch them. Most guys get the hint...Then when I have their attention, I usually make a comment about something that's going on in the gym....or ask him for help in making a machine work or something lame and obvious like that... So, I'd like to know, too, what guys would like us to do to show interest in them...
nicki Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 hmm, SoWhatKnow, those lines sound pretty forward. Wouldn't a guy think a girl was too aggressive if she said any of them? Well, if not, maybe I'll try this one: "The showers in the womens' locker room are broken. Can I use yours?"
daved823 Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 welll im in the gym all the time and i look and the only girls i look at r the ones i think r good lookin so if u get the hint that he thinks ur good looking then all you have to do is hop on a bike next to him and start a conversation. Theres really nothing u can say wrong to a guy. i would love it if every girl was like u and wanted to try and start a conversation with me cuz most of the time guys have to always make the first move
