typical Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 Which would you prefer: A hot, passionate, jealous love or A clear, level headed, reasonable love?
Buttaflyy Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 I'm going for the passion, only if it includes passionate sex too!
Author typical Posted October 30, 2006 Author Posted October 30, 2006 Yes, Buttaflyy, I wholeheartedly agree.. Out of curiosity, why would you choose the passion over the levelheadedness?
Buttaflyy Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 Yes, Buttaflyy, I wholeheartedly agree.. Out of curiosity, why would you choose the passion over the levelheadedness? Don't agree with me Typical. I'm a stickler for drama. I think the sane levelheaded relationship might be too boring for me . That and the fact that until recently, I've been accustomed to jealous relationships. I'm sorta kidding , In reality I seem to equate passion with physically expressing love. Now though, my relationship is more on the levelheaded side, while I'd have to admit that it's not as "passionate" as I'd like. But, I'd not trade it for anything else.
dgiirl Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 level headed... i hate drama and trying to figure out what the other person is thinking/doing/expressing... I enjoy peace and quiet.
Author typical Posted October 30, 2006 Author Posted October 30, 2006 Don't agree with me Typical. Tuff $hit....its too late now... I want passion. Hot passion. The "Screw with my mind, I dont care" possessive passion. Note: This question is assuming that in both scenarios, the other person would never leave you, you are lifelong partners, who are faithful and who would never stray.
Guest Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 Which would you prefer: A hot, passionate, jealous love or A clear, level headed, reasonable love? A Passionate love that gives reasonable head is ok with me! lol

If my man was like that, without a doubt I'd NEVER leave!
Art_Critic Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 hot, passionate all the way.. leave jealous on the sidelines though I like the kind that the person infects your mind and body to the point where you can't think of anything but them.. Man.. what a rush a relationship like that is..it has been a while though.. Passion gets the blood pumping and my romantic side really comes out when my blood is pumping.. I've even been known to write love letters in this type of relationship
Author typical Posted October 30, 2006 Author Posted October 30, 2006 Absolutely! If my man was like that, without a doubt I'd NEVER leave! Yes, so where the hell are they??? Why arent men like this? And if they are, how can I attract them without pulling out my ancient powerful lovers bind for all eternity spell book? Seriously, I want it hot...hot and passionate and possessive...I can give it as much as I recieve it. Why does it seem like the ones who dont want it have it???

Man.. what a rush a relationship like that is..it has been a while though.. Passion gets the blood pumping and my romantic side really comes out when my blood is pumping.. I've even been known to write love letters in this type of relationship Yeah but eventually that fades....... and the freaky parts surface. Stalking, things set on fire (real fire), the flat tires, and the poisoned food. Give me a steady as he goes with a few hot days thrown in. I don't want that much drama 24/7.

Man.. what a rush a relationship like that is..it has been a while though.. Yes, but what you are describing is obsessive, which also leads to jealousy and possessiveness.....which is hot....(obviously only if it is returned) oh gawd....its all so hot....what I wouldnt give to be swept away and to know that there is nothing I can do about it, but to give in and accept it....

tinktronik Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 That is a great word to describe what I am talking about... Why so? Its what I've got now along with respectful , friendly and sweet. Im very happy with it and satisfied more as a person than I ever was with a passionate wild love affair.
basscatcher Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 Which would you prefer: A hot, passionate, jealous love or A clear, level headed, reasonable love? I'd go with the latter.. Simply because if the guy is clear and level headed he would know well enough to be hot and passionate or he won't hold onto me for long.. As for the reasonable lover part. a clear level headed man would know that there's always room to learn.. Hot, passionate jealous lovers start as fast as they burn out. You start fast. They end fast and you tend to get burnt in the process..

The relationships I've had that were infectious were also balanced with love and respect.. just not all at the same time

That is the question.

They end fast and you tend to get burnt in the process.. That is why I put in the disclaimer stating that you were pretty much guaranteed to stay together for all eternity Its what I've got now along with respectful , friendly and sweet. Im very happy with it and satisfied more as a person than I ever was with a passionate wild love affair. Yesterday, the BF called me sweetie. The day before that, he called me honey. I didnt like this one bit. Its at this point that they start to take you for granted. I just didnt like it, and it made me bristle with uncomfortableness and I hung my head down dejectedly... If this is what I have to look forward to, then forget it.
