miffy111 Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 My boyfriend and i have been together for 3 1/2 years since i was 14 and he was 21 through some really rough times, and although it was my first relationship i knew it was a good one. he was so sweet and kind to me all the time and would do anything for me. i must admit i was a bit selfish and demanding but he put up with it and kept loving me. Anyway in september he had the chance to travel to Dubai where his dad works at the moment and then onto Australia to meet some friends,he was going to be away for about 4 months.I was a bit concerned but gave him my blessing and he wanted us to stay together while he was away. for the 1st 3 weeks he was always texting and phoning saying how much he loved and missed me, then suddenly he stopped. This week i get a text message saying he was going back to dubai to work after Oz. i was upset and he said that he didnt know if he still loved me and he was doing fine on his own and wanted to carry on in this way for a while without me. he did not want me to go out there. but then he kept saying that when he came back he would give me a call? i dont know what to make of this. so today i phoned him to tell him to have a great time and do whatever the hell he wants and i would do the same back here. this is the last i have heard form him.Does anyone have any opinions on this and whether i should still have hope of him wanting to get back with me when he comes home? sorry its a long one and thank you for taking the time to read and reply.
