Guest Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 I have seen posts aplenty about how awful women are and how they have 'emasculated' men because they are bitches, etc etc etc. But the fact of the matter is that men have done it to themselves. What can be more pathetic than a guy who will put up with any sort of bad behaviour from a woman just because he thinks she's hot? Then of course he gets mad when she mistreats him and, since he can't blame himself for being a dumba$$ when it comes to picking women (i.e. following his groin), he rants and raves and froths at the mouth at all women. Seriously. It's not impressive. It's not macho. It's just sad. Real, real sad. You got troubles with women, grab your balls and stuff them back into your skivvies and try hard to use your brains rather than your groin in choosing a woman. And pick one who's emotionally mature, kind, and caring - which is not incongruent with being a tiger between the sheets. Trust me on this. Then maybe you'll finally quit whining. Because, really, all that whimpering and whinging is pitiful. 'Feminists' are not to blame. TV is not to blame. Sex and the City is not to blame. That meat tube is to blame and the importance you give it over all other considerations.

I can't add a thing -except that it *needed* to be said. -Rio

Guest Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 Then maybe you'll finally quit whining. I'm not whining. People wanna screw up their lives - go ahead. But for the rare few who might actually want to change - there is the plan. I'm a big believer in 'don't complain it's broken - figure out how to fix it'. That is a suggestion about how. And why.
maoserr Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 A little ironic considering these forums are for "whining".
Guest Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 A little ironic considering these forums are for "whining". There's a difference between presenting a problem in order to seek solutions and just complaining over and over and over about the same thing (ex. 'women have emasculated men').
lindya Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 You got troubles with women, grab your balls and stuff them back into your skivvies and try hard to use your brains rather than your groin in choosing a woman. And pick one who's emotionally mature, kind, and caring I think you're talking about a negative behavioural pattern that's attributable to both men and women. A lot of people are prone to falling into it when they're stressed and unhappy - but some people are just terminally like that. Those often seem to be desperate attention seekers who want as much validation from as many people as they can possibly get. In trying to get that approval, they go down that path of attempting to be all things to all people. In the process they become less and less authentic, people lose respect for them, they pick this up and complain about not getting the respect or appreciation they deserve. In the quest to get that attention they're so desperate for, they become needy, demanding and irritating. They drain the emotional resources and patience of everyone around them. Then they announce to the world that "I'm a man/woman of honour, integrity and compassion" - as if they expect the world to accept such self-aggrandisement with an uncritical ear. When it doesn't happen, they feel emasculated by the world. Well - the men feel emasculated. I guess the women just feel generally devalued.

A guy who used to put up with any sort of bad behavior from a woman just because he thought she was hot, but now lays alone on his bed in west palm beach, florida posting all the time on loveshack

You might have put yourself through a bad situation, but it doesn't seem to have unbalanced your thinking. Well, except when it comes to your cousin Veronica maybe.

Ah Veronica....well, that goes way back when to the early stirrings of puberty. Too bad we didn't live in 19th century Cuba, I could have had a good life with Veronica, two mules, a thatch hut and a cross-eyed baby

Men can't do that anymore without going to prison. Men are no longer allowed to utilize the one advantage they have always had over women, physical strength. Yet women the world over still get to use all their built in advantages over men with no fear of going to jail.
Ross_K Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 I couldn't agree more. Not that I think men should be able to beat up women, but that women shouldn't be able to take advantage of the fact that we can't do that. A woman being abusive to a guy, either mentally or physically when he can't defend himself against her, should be just as wrong and pathetic as a guy hitting a woman.

Right on, unless it was for the sole purpose of self-defense or in retaliation, other than that it is pathetic.
Guest Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 but some people are just terminally like that. I suppose. I (perhaps foolishly) keep hoping that people can be rescued/rehabilitated from lives of bitterness. A guy who used to put up with any sort of bad behavior from a woman just because he thought she was hot, but now lays alone on his bed in west palm beach, florida posting all the time on loveshack It doesn't seem that that guy complains a lot about 'all women'. And maybe if that guy learned his lesson this time, he'll go on to choose a good woman who'll treat him well and they'll live happily ever after. It's not too late! In the past when women got out of line their men just beat them to a pulp. Men can't do that anymore without going to prison. Which is why I'm always suspicious of men who long for 'the good ol' days'; they long for the worst aspects of 'the good ol' days.' I tend to doubt they're just joking. A woman being abusive to a guy, either mentally or physically when he can't defend himself against her, should be just as wrong and pathetic as a guy hitting a woman. Um. Nobody here says it's ok for anybody to beat anybody. This isn't about beatings. And yes, women who are bitter are as tiresome as men who are but I've not seen - or heard that many women ranting about how awful 'all men' are. However I assure you that if I do, I disagree with them as vigorosly. Right on, unless it was for the sole purpose of self-defense or in retaliation, other than that it is pathetic. NO BEATING OF ANYBODY BY ANYBODY IS OK. It's not that often at all that a person's life or physical health is threatened to the point that they need to defend themselves. The best solution in all cases of threat is to leave. But this thread is not about domestic violence. It's about men who fall for alluring bitches and then get angry at all women instead of blaming their own poor judgement for their troubles.
