I am a BS who had a husband like this. My ex-WS had a couple children during our marriage that I did not find out about until after we were divorced. His family knew all about it but none of them had the guts to tell me. I wish someone would have told me. (Hey poster up there, I was going through fertility treatment at the time...wonder if we know each other lol)

Tigger,

While I certainly thank you for your input, I wanted to point out that I am NOT sleeping with her H. She is a friend and I happen to know about a woman that is pregnant by him. I know a little too much about his extramarital activities to even find him appealing in that way. Too many miles on him. But thanks for the post.

The MM that I was seeing is still married and never been divorced, so I don't think that we know each other. I sometimes wish I could talk to his wife to tell her about everything else that I found out about him. Maybe someday. He really has no remorse on what he did and has no clue about the turmoil he caused. Sorry, No I didn't. I didn't realize that you were the friend. Didn't have time to read everything. You need to tell her though. Write a letter anonymously.

Tigger- I was mostly kidding. I was just mildly amused ( I don't know why given the topic) that the situation was similar. Instead of blaming the WS, maybe I should blame fertility treatment! (so kidding)

It would be one thing if the wife didn't know her husband was a cheater. But she, as you say, is very insecure (I wonder why), and she stuck with him after finding out he got another woman pregnant. The way I see it, quantity may change, but the quality doesn't. She knew the guy was a louse the first time and she chose to stay with him. You aren't telling her anything she doesn't know. Giving her this piece of information isn't going to paint a less flattering picture of what he is. In fact, if she keeps herself in denial, and if she's so ashamed she doesn't talk to you, I don't think your intentions will be met with appreciation at all.

Either she's so insecure she'll stay with him regardless, or she'll get tired of feeling the way she does and leave on her own.
