Hello every one I need help I get really shy talking to a girl that I like. I just had homecoming and danced with the girl I like but I never said any thing(Could this kill my chances) I tend to think a lot before saying any thing because I am scared I will say something dumb. I am not really good at sports so I can’t really get know like all the other people that play sports. And well I just was wondering if any one out there could help me to get to know this girl better. thx the new guy

can you try talking to her as if she was one of your friends? Like ask her about the latest movies or music etc.

Consider her as a friend. That way, you won't be that shy to talk to her.

You need to know how to flirt. Also, you're supposed to be making yourself look silly and laugh at yourself while flirting. It's not what you say, just that you say it and both enjoy talking to each other, making each other laugh. Be witty as well. Also, let the girl talk as she'll talk more than you but listen to her and think of follow up questions, funny/silly remarks to make her laugh or smile. Don't become self concious, instead concentrate on her not what she's thinking about you.
