I feel like my ex came out on top, i just found out hes dating a wonder doctor, she is also very beautiful. I feel a bit like the looser, im just hoping that the saying is true, no bad deed goes unpunished. Because he dealt me a raw deal. And i also hope that good will always prevail over evil.

personally, i think you both won. it doesn't do anyone any good to be in a relationship with someone who doesn't want to be with them, or with someone they don't want to be with. that is a lose-lose situation, which sucks even more.

you'll find someone, i'm sure of it. :) but that doesn't mean that you're the 'loser' until then. it just means you have the freedom to find the winner for you.

Ive never met you or her but I sense you are far more attractive than her. :)

You know, beauty isn't skin deep, it is in the eye of the beholder and when you get back on track you will radiate beauty, I can tell.

So pick yourself up, dust yourself down, take a deep breath and start believing in who you are not what she looks like!

Don't bank on it. Life has no intrinsic balance where good deeds are always rewarded and bad deeds always punished. Maybe instead of expending energy on someone you think is an ass, you should channel it into improving your life to such a position that you no longer have to wish misfortune on others to feel good about yourself.

Good always does prevail over evil. Doesn't mean we should wish misfortune on others but people reap what they sow.

I am a guy and I will give you my perspective about his new fling. Beauty doesn't matter in the long run. His new gf can be beautiful but if thats his only basis for dating her then he is going to fall big time. And as someone said, he doesn't have you. He is the one that has lost.

God bless you.

I AGREE - EVERYONE IS A WINNER on this one when all is said and done! and please, don't feel bad about your exterior appearances and compare them to a gf of someone you left. look at that wonderful hunk u left him for - i am sure he sees you as someone beautiful - and is totally in love with you. i mean one would have to be ga ga ga boo boo love-style to do crazy things. remember you've experienced a kind of love [lust] that i do think i will ever have - that is crazy dangerous stuff because its tied to impulse which is tied to the physical, which is tied to the one thing that is overly powerful in people that do these things - the ego, and sense of entitlement - hence no remorse - and that must feel like you can do whatever u want and take whatever u want - sort of like conrad black. you know that newspaper mogel who is sort of always walking around in peoples lives - hmmmm, i knew some people that debones that ran a paper business and another that used rolling papers and she drank alot...hmmmm sounds like a 3some fer sure - lol

think i'll make some popcorn and wait for the second feature - lol

Hey Divine,

How are you feeling today? I hope you are doing better. Just keep in mind just because she is 'beautiful' and a Doctor.. doesnt mean she has everything. She may have the superficial/materialistic things, but you know, like everyone has mentioned.. beauty is skin deep. Even if she is beautiful, rich, whatever.. doesnt mean she can make your ex happy. Love is always beautiful in the beginning.. but watching what happens later on is what matters. :p dont worry, bad people do get bad things in return.. but to heal it's best to let off that hope and just focus on yourself. hope this helps

Your ex has lost somebody who loved him, would give him anything, support him, cherish him, would always be there for him.

Finding this in somebody is not easily come by.

You have lost a companion. Nothing more!

He obviously didnt love you enough to stay and he obvioulsy isnt there for you.

Now ask yourself again. Who has lost?

Your ex didnt give you a raw deal. He handed you a gift. The gift to find somebody who does love you and who does want to be with you.

I agree with this - and Divine, I think that as a good person you'd probably feel nothing more than pity if something terrible really did befall your ex. And if you'd actually wished ill on him, wouldn't that pity would be tinged with an awful guilt?

I don't know what your ex did, but given that you described his actions as being evil it sounds as if you're well rid of him. Why not just settle for hoping that he has whatever life experiences he needs to have in order to become a better person? If he doesn't have those experiences, and never improves on who he is just now then you can consider that fate has already dealt you a very big favour.

My ex is in a wonderful relationship with a daughter's father's dream.

Going "head to head" with this dude would be laughable - he is better than me in every conceivable way.

I think the least you can do is to try to be happy for your ex. And if you can't even do that, then just don't be thinking about him at all.

The brutal truth is that our exes don't want us. I'm sure that you have a lot of lovable qualities...it's all about finding someone that appreciates them. As multi-faceted human beings we're really quite complex, and comparing yourself to another - in a romantic context or whatever - is pretty much a wasted effort.

All we can do is learn from our mistakes, and move on. Because there might be something good around the corner - that you now are much better equipped to fully appreciate. That's the theory, anyway.

I think you need to work on your self esteem somewhat MagicHands

You are a unique wonderful individual in your own right.

I agree wholeheartedy with the rest of your post though. Maybe you should listen to your own advice and not put yourself down so much.

Thanks you guys, these are all good advice, i know deep down that i dont want him back, but why does life always have to be soo complicated. Its just sad that you can be totally happy and then.............you know the rest.

What really scares me though is, will i really be able to do this again, I thought my ex was the best of the best, and he turned out to be the biggest jerk ever. I am really scared that anybody that comes my way will suffer the consequesces for his actions.

Not sure if i will be able to trust like that again
