Noos Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 Why do guys love spoiled brats? That is, the kind of vain girls who think the world revolves around them and who don't actually contribute anything to it except scenery. What's the appeal there? Is it because they are usually from wealthy backgrounds and it's a status thing, that they are willing to put up with self-absorbed and obnoxious behaviour? Or is it because the behaviour is usually directed towards people outside the inner circle, so they are willing to let it slide? I'm not talking about highschooler here. I'm talking about people in their twenties and thirties. In Sydney. they refer to them as "glamours" or "Sydney princesses" and the only guys who don't like them are the ones who can't get one.

Guys like that? Geez, I feel sorry for those guys.

I'm happy to see that you're not bitter. Men are simple creatures with simple needs. Men will revolve around anything with a serious gravitational pull (ie, that sucks).
Pyro Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 In Sydney. they refer to them as "glamours" or "Sydney princesses" and the only guys who don't like them are the ones who can't get one. I dated this type in the past and thank God I am not interested in this type anymore. In my experience, this type lacked personality, was insecure, and was a downright b*tch.
Pyro Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 Men are attracted to shiny things. If you are referring to what the OP is referring to, then you are wrong. Date one of those type and you'll see.
norajane Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 If you are referring to what the OP is referring to, then you are wrong. Date one of those type and you'll see. I think the smart guys figure out soon enough that the shine is only on the surface. Some guys don't care.

Pyro Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 I think the smart guys figure out soon enough that the shine is only on the surface. Some guys don't care. Amen to that. I dated her when I was young and naive. I thought I struck gold, but then her true self came out and that was it. All she had going for her was her looks.
Pyro Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 You were thinking about something shiny when that picture was taken. Beauty is skin deep...thank goodness. What?
norajane Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 What? Where would the rest of us be if the beautiful people were all beautiful on the inside too??? We wouldn't have a chance!
Pyro Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 Where would the rest of us be if the beautiful people were all beautiful on the inside too??? We wouldn't have a chance! You're right. We need to watch out.

That is, the kind of vain girls who think the world revolves around them and who don't actually contribute anything to it except scenery. I dated one of these. It was extremely unsatisfying, but when it was all said and done, I had learned a lot about women in general. It definitely got the "nice guy" crap out of my system. In that sense, it was a good experience for me. Never again.
burning 4 revenge Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 I don't know, Im kind of attracted to selfish c*nts. They aren't always pretty, nor stupid either.
