Marielle Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 Can anyone tell me what are the best internet resources to quit smoking? With forums, user friendly, support and tools? There are soooo many that I do not know where to start:eek: Thank you!
magichands Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 Does posting on here mellow your cravings?
Author Marielle Posted October 23, 2006 Author Posted October 23, 2006 Honestly, not really Magichands. Love related things make me stress more (you can read my past treads and forum I go to) I really need to know which are the good sites exclusively for smoking cessation. Any others?
amaysngrace Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 I don't know of any websites, but you can always try the cigarette manufacturers' websites and see if they offer support. I'm thinking most of the major ones would. But, from my experience, the more stopping smoking is consuming your thoughts while trying to quit, the harder it is going to be to actually do it. But it may work for you, anything is worth a try. Good luck to you.
ash519 Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 quitnet.com really helped me!!! I quit January 2005 and have not smoked since. There is an excellent chat room and you get emails marking quit anniversaries and there's lots of helpful info to keep you going. Give it a shot.
