Hey, a woman here. Not afraid, just the question is too subjective. But I will venture an opinion. If the man is indeed a good man, as I define one, I wouldn't cheat on him. But if I did, I would feel absolutely horrible.

BTW, I have never cheated on any man, good or bad.

Thanks for your post NoIDidn't. The question is meant to be subjective. I appreciate your response though. I also appreciate that you have integrity.:D

I would imagine that if you do something like that, any shred of guilt she might feel will vanish in an instant....and the 300 people you email will probably all be saying "Jesus Christ he must be some sort of psycho to email this to all of us. Maybe he's also a wife-beater...after all, what kind of person does something like this? No wonder she cheated on him."

Revenge may or may not be sweet, but it certainly doesn't make a person look too pretty to the outside world.

Agreed, while he may be angry and WANT to do this- if he wants to stay married not a good thing.

She may want to send out some emails of her own after that, and they might not be pretty- including details of their private life he may not want anyone to know. Such as if he likes to use a butt plug while having sex with his wife (I know someone that this happened to). He was a drill sergeant in the Army too, and it didn't look too good on him when it came out!

What were her demands?

She had several. The most spectacular one was that I don't contact her lovers.

In my case, WXW was a serial cheat, starting during the engagement.

Remorse is defined as "deep and painful regret for wrongdoing." Since the marriage fell apart 3 years ago following her revelations, she's displayed behaviour that appears to be remorse. Of course, not being able to see into her mind, and not having wanted to spend sufficient time with her to find out more, I don't know if she's actually remorseful, or just feels bad that her wrongdoing got spread far and wide to a s***load of people.

Also, I've wondered if she only felt remorseful towards the end after she'd already cheated with who knows how many guys, or if she felt remorseful while it was going on. One would think that "deep and painful regret for wrongdoing" would be a pretty hefty impediment to somebody committing the "wrongdoing" again.

Men and women both cheat. Get off of the gender bashing. I met a man the other day that slept with my roommate's friend after she picked him up at a bar. He is married to a woman who is in the military as he is and she is currently deployed in Afghanistan. I gave the guy a ride home on the way to work since the girl he boffed was passed out. So it goes both ways.

Yeah, I know. After what he did to her though it was just deserts.

Big ole drill sergeant can only get erect when his wife uses a butt plug on him!

I agree with your last statement, If you were truly remorseful for your wrongdoing, you would make sure that it never happened again. Especially if it cost you a marriage or a relationship.
