Hmm, I go to the mall today to pick up a traveller's guide to Japan and who do I ran into? My ex with her rebound boyfriend. She was standing alone close to the male washroom when I saw her. Hahaha, she looked like she'd seen a ghost. She instantly scrambled looking for a rock to hide under thinking that I'd not seen her. I took 2 steps backwards and waved at her and moved on. I see her again a little late with the dude.

Why will she panic and try to hide like that? What does that mean? What's she probably thinking? She waved back slightly when she realised that I'd seen her trying to hide.

I was a little nervous for a couple of moments but after that everything was fine. The whole experience just reminded me of how over we are.

Dude it was guilt that caused her to panic she had to accept it for the first time.

Your free man :bunny: She can't do it to you anymore she has to live with the guilt chains:eek: kinda ironic since she wanted her freedom bet she never thought of that.

Best of luck in your new life :) w out her monkey on ur back

hmmmm....i see it another way...i should of surprised the ex and maybe there was a little personsal space boundaries that i crossed...but she did really well and recovered and did that finger salute she likes to give me and so i respectful saluted back by sticking out my tongue

next thing ya know i am standing next to her offering up some crackerjack..and she sticks her hand in and take half the box....i say "well done - but i get the prize inside"

gawd it was nice to see that she didn't think i was harassing her like those good old days when i was in the back yard acting like a jerk

all men need is a maid and some good quality pornography :lmao:

I've had that happen before...but not by an ex.

From a couple of girls I used to have classes with. Same reaction as yours, either they immediately turned their back when they saw me or looked for a rock to hide under. They were the usual quiet girls who feared extremely of rejection.

" ICE CUBES, young grasshopper"

Heres something else to contemplate, a wise yet round lady once said to me

"You can have what ever you want, as long as you do everything in the right order"

Any of this make sense to you? No? Patience grasshopper it will later on..

The same thing happened to me. My ex broke up with me 22 years ago after a five year relationship. I never called or tried to get them back and never saw or heard about them again. Until a few months ago when my spouse and I ran into them when we were out one evening. I was shocked at how much my ex had aged. They probably looked about 15 years older than they actually were. (My spouse is 10 years younger than me and a hundred times more attractive than my ex is now.) My ex took one look at me and turned and ran the other way. I was curious, also, as to why they would do this. My spouse said that it was the fight of flight syndrome and that running away or, in your case, looking away is a sign of insecurity. It's funny how the tables have turned after so much time has passed.

But I know exactly how you feel. You think, gee, we spent 5 years of our lives together and now I don't even get a hello.

I kinda got the impression that she didn't want me to see her with this dude which is why she tried to hide. She had been trying to contact me after the break up but I ignored her. She even came to buzz my condo once but I didn't let her in even though I was there. Suddenly she sees me physically and the first thing she does is hide.

I saw them again later (she didn't see me this time) and the dude she was with was looking kinda pissed. Don't know what transpired between them after the incident.

Guilty, guilty, guilty. Having second thoughts, doubting herself, all of the above. Best revenge is living well... her loss and I bet she's starting to realize it.
