pretty basic question and answer session for everyone here. curious as to what people have to say. i'll start off.

1. if your ex breaks up with u, provides no information why, then immediately goes into nc, you attempt to simply sit down as discuss what are obviously such issues [reasons for breakup] in a normal, adult way, but months pass without any communication - would u be interested in ever again being in any kind of relationship with the ex?

NO

2. if your ex had an affair and told you they were not "in love" with you - would u would u be interested in ever again being in any kind of relationship with the ex?

NO

3. if you had no idea what the hell happened, only that your ex left and never spoke to you again - would u be interested in ever again being in any kind of relationship with the ex?

NO

4. would u be friends with an ex under any of these situations?

Yes. (I might be.)

Yes. (Well, under *very* unlikely circumstances)

3. if you had no idea what the hell happened, only that your ex left and never spoke to you again - would u be interested in ever again being in any kind of relationship with the ex?

Yes. (Again, as in I might be.)

4. would u be friends with an ex under any of these situations?

Yes. In the unlikely case I might find him worthy of being friends with me *and* I were 100% over him.

Based on the way you wrote your post and questions, I would have to say no as well. However, other mitigating circumstances may change the picture a bit. If there are children involved, I would at least try to work through my anger to at least have a friendship for their future well-being. And if there is still a possibility of a relationship and my ex was extremely changed, then yes, there may be a chance for that as well.

Since questions like theses are usually not hypothetical here, why do you ask?
