caring guy Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 Ok, in a nutshell, i had eye contact with a girl on a bus, more than once, she triggered off my 6th sense of wow~! She got off at the same stop as me & as she walked behind, i slowed down, glanced across & noticed she was smiling. I asked her how she was & whats up (smiling), i knew she knew,ok! I said do you wanna go for a drink now & she said ok! We chatted, got on, we exchanged numbers & i said i'd text her tomorrow (today), she said ok & we'd arrange something for weekend (dinner or drink). So i texted her saying nice to meet you, are you free over weekend! No reply. Sent it 5 pm now 10 pm, nothing. Am i paranoid as to "she's not interested", so why did she give me her number? Maybe i'm impatient! I said i'd call her maybe Friday, but i texted Thursday!, is this an issue here? She's 10 years younger than me, 21-31 & i'm English, she's Russian, no significance as we both spoke as we were both same age! We could have been. Any advice please! cg

So i assume that means it's ok to call tonight! Why do women give you there number or exchange numbers & then not reply when you try & contact them, this is strange!! cg

I had this same exact thing happen to me not but a few weeks ago. I texted this female about 4 times over the course of 5 days or so. This was after we had hung out 2 or 3 times casually. Now, I assumed that she was blowing me off, when in reality, she was at the hospital visiting her new baby sisters and could not get a connection on her cell there! You would be amazed at what is really going on when someone does not text you back. Besides, 5 hours isn't much at all. If it goes 5 days, then you can begin to question things.
