BlueEyedGirl Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 I have been thinking of getting hair extensions. My hair is about chin length or slightly longer but I want it long. I spoke to few hairdressers and it would cost me $1000. Money aspect doesn't bother me as I earn enough and have only myself to take care of. My main issue is how damaging it is for the hair. All the Hd I spoke to told me that they won't damage my hair at all but I don't know whetever to trust them. Another thing is, I don't want to turn up at work one day with my hair looking obvously fake. I mean people will notice that it can't grow that much over the weekend lol. I don't want anyone to know how vain I am in getting extensions, people would be like OMG!! I was thinking if I get them and wear my hair in a ponytail for a few weeks and then let it out, maybe they won't notice and think it's just grown? I'm thinking of getting bra-strap length. I have never been able to have nice long hair as my hair is of poor quality and doesn't look good when long. Of course I can get them a bit shorther but then there isn't much point in paying so much $$$$. I would love to hear of any advice or girls that have gotten them and your experiences.
