confused93 Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 I am MW involved with a guy for 4 mos who has a GF of about a yr. We have known each other for yrs. I have been unhappy in my marriage for several yrs, married 13. Started out just as sex - I am not attracted to my husband and when we do have sex I feel like I'm just doing it as my "duty". Sex is AMAZING with the OM but I am having true feelings for him. I think he has feelings for me too but this has not been said by either of us. I really don't want to be married anymore but I am scared to take the big step. I have two children (neither with my husband currently) one in high school and one in college. We live in a small town where his entire family lives and some of mine. I just don't want to hurt anyone but I am SO unhappy. Just wondering if anyone is in a similar situation and I guess I'm looking for some kind of support or whatever; I haven't told anyone about the OM.
whichwayisup Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 Just divorce your husband. It isn't fair to him to stay with him if you are not happy. And don't stay out married out of fear of the unknown... Now, is it possible that you just let yourself fall inlove with the OM, so now those feelings are too intense and taken over the love for your husband? Did you and your husband have problems BEFORE the OM entered into this picture? Or did your feelings change after....Think about this question for afew minutes... Leave your husband for YOU, not for the OM.
