Author fireflywy Posted October 19, 2006 Author Posted October 19, 2006 I honestly don't know. Perhaps, perhaps not. Once again, I thank all of you for your words of support. It really means a lot to me. As hard as it is, I won't be going back. I'm not a hardcore religious person, but I prayed last night and called on the angels that she somehow find peace and happiness in this world. I hope she finds it and I know that somewhere down the road I'll find mine as well. (My goodness, I haven't shed a tear in months, but I shed a few last night)
InvisibleTouch Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 I believe... ...that people will only treat you the way that you let them. Setting boundries is paramount, especially in todays society. Unfortunately many of us dont realise this and end up being abused by some very abusive types. As Bendit implies the problem is not with the abusers, it is with us. Tolerating abuse suggests personal hang ups. The abused must ask themselves why they are tolerant of such dispicable behaviour. Identifying the need to pose themselves this question is the easy bit, finding the answers however, is normally hard work. Well done for being relatively balanced here. Just tidy up your stance by setting some very clear boundaries that can protect you not just from this little "Cluster B" but any other creature with warped ideas that heads your way!
