Guest Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 How can I be sure if a guy likes me (I know this is asked ALOT, but...). I have a crush on a guy and I think he may be interested, but I'm not sure if he is or if he's just friendly. I ran into him over labor day at an outdoor festival. I heard someone scream my name as I made my way across the park and it was him. He was actually standing and talking w/ another friend of mine. Later, when passing each other in a crowd, he squeezed my elbow and asked if the band was on yet. At the bandshell, he came up to me and chatted with me, telling me about the band, how much he liked them... That following work day, I had to send a work related email to volunteers (it was a mass email, he was included in the group). He responded and tacked on a "PS it was good to see you yesterday." Just saw him again this week for an event. Everything was normal; he didn't pay particular attendtion to me. At the end of the meeting, he overheard me telling someone I was set up on a blind date. He turned around and, instead of making fun of me like everyone else, he gave me advice on how to cut the date short. He was actually quite loud and boisterous in his movements, telling me (calling me cuz, which worries me as this is slang reserved for friends!) that I shouldn't go on blind dates, etc. I felt chemistry during that exchange and someone else (a girl who is my friend, of course) says she noticed it, too. At the end of the evening, he initiated a good-bye hug (one-armed, our cheeks touched). I am willing to make the first move (as many who know him are telling me I'll have to be the one to make that move) but I just want more to go on. Any thoughts?

Either way he sounds like a guy who loves people so give it a shot he likes having you around Maybe say something innocent like you'd have been a lot more fun on a date than this blind date guy, I should have listened to you
